Out flight into stone town was delayed , yet Yussaf still managed to move around our planned walking tour to capture everything we needed to see before some museums closed . He even booked us into a lovely roof top restaurant for dinner.

We booked 4 trips with Yussaf , and as well as being a very informative and organised guide, it was a pleasure to spend time with him just chatting about life in Zanzibar.

  Amazing Tour!! - Myself and my husband were in Stonetown for one night and wanted to see as much as possible in a short space of time. We found Yussuf online and decided... read more to go on his walking tour which we combined with a trip to Prison Island and a transfer service to Nungwi which was very reasonably priced compared to hotel transfers.

Yussuf arrived very promptly on the day and explained exactly what we would do. The tour itself was very detailed with lots of detail explained about the local areas we were taken to and the town itself. Perhaps most poignant was the history about the East African slave trade which if it wasn't for the tour we may have bypassed as it is a little further out of the main centre.

Overall the tour was a fantastic way to see Stonetown, we went through spice markets, winding streets, historical forts and various other locations all of which were explained really well. Our advice is start early, it gets very very hot and humid towards midday!

If you are in Stonetown then do not hesitate to use Yussuf’s services, you won’t regret it!
